Aftercare has been providing support and stability for youth aging out of care since 2002. The Network offers services to youth and young adults ages 17 up to 23 throughout Iowa.
The Iowa Aftercare Services Network (IASN) is the link between leaving court-ordered placement and entering adulthood. Many of the youth we serve do not have family or supportive adults to help them navigate daily living or to turn to when things aren’t going as planned. Aftercare helps youth develop a plan based on their personal goals, and provides resources and guidance to help you achieve them.
Monthly financial support is also available to youth who qualify.
The Network includes seven direct service providers. Services reach every corner of the state, covering all 99 counties in Iowa.
Ever since I’ve been in the program my advocates have gone above and beyond to give me a lending hand and make sure I’m prepared for some of the biggest things in my life. I appreciate them and this program so much!
